For the first time Santa will be stopping at the Midtown Global Market before returning to the North Pole. He has been meeting kids at other locations for many years, and he is looking forward to meeting new kids and old friends again. As usual, Santa will be happy to take pictures with the kids. Santa said that he does not want any kid left out this year.
10:00am – 2:00pm: Roe Family Singers Featuring Kim Roe; City Pages' Best Female Vocalist 2006.
2:30pm – 3:30pm: Sandburg Steppers
The group of teenagers will give the audience a taste of ‘Steppin’. “Steppin is currently one of the most popular African American dance forms in Chicago and the Midwest. It is called several names throughout the country, a dance that comes in various forms, operates on many different counts with universal appeal that manifest in almost every African American community in America.
3:30pm to 4:30pm: Sister Gin. Semi-accoustic Duo.
4:30pm – 6:30pm: Kristi and Joel

Kristi Kruse, an exceptionally gifted pianist in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, plays with feeling and momentum. Kristi moves audiences with an accomplished and polished performance every time. She also can switch styles and genres on a downbeat and performs with grace and verve whether she’s solo or in a duo, trio or band. Joel Shapira is a top performing classical and jazz guitarist based in the Twin Cities. His educational background includes studies with some of the world's great players and teachers including jazz legends Joe Pass and Tal Farlow. Joel performs extensively in the Twin Cities area and beyond in a wide variety of musical settings including clubs, restaurants, private events, regional arts festivals and more.
