    As a signature event Celebrating 20 Years in Community at Midtown Global Market, the festival highlights the creativity, cultures and connections that have shaped the Market over the past two decades.

    The festival features live performances, visual artists, makers, cultural organizations, interactive activities, food and shopping .

  • The festival takes place over a weekend.

    • Saturday, June 13th: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    • Sunday, June14th: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Both days feature a variety of live music, dance performances and immersive art experiences.

      Metered surface lot on Elliot Avenue & E. Lake Street

      There is a metered surface parking lot on Elliot Avenue near Lake Street, right by Midtown Global Market. This lot is not a ramp — it’s a surface (ground-level) lot where drivers can park and pay


      General Street Parking

      • On-street parking is available nearby — Minneapolis operates many metered street parking spaces on surrounding streets (often with time limits and pay-by-meter rules).

      • Time limits, rates, and enforcement hours vary by block — always check posted signs before leaving your vehicle.

      • Minneapolis meters may be free on City-observed holidays, but municipal holidays don’t always apply to all spaces — signs will indicate enforcement details.

  • Will food be available?

    Yes. Festival guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and beverages from Midtown Global Market’s restaurants and vendors representing cultures from around the world. Preview here.

    Will artists and makers be selling items?

    Yes. Many participating artists, makers and cultural organizations will have items available for purchase.

  • How can I apply to perform or participate?

    Applications for performers, artists and makers are accepted through the festival application process. Space may be limited.

    When will participating artists receive event details?

    Accepted participants will receive a follow-up email in early June with load-in information, parking details, setup instructions and event schedules.

    Are performers paid?

    Many featured performers and artists receive compensation based on festival programming and available funding.

    Can nonprofits or community organizations participate?

    Yes. Arts, cultural and community organizations are encouraged to participate, especially those offering interactive or educational experiences for attendees.

  • What types of vendors are accepted?

    Application

    The festival prioritizes artists, makers, creatives, cultural organizations and handcrafted goods that align with the event’s community and arts focus.

    Do vendors need to provide their own setup?

    Yes. Vendors are generally responsible for their own displays, tables, signage and setup materials unless otherwise arranged.

    Is electricity available?

    Limited electricity may be available in select areas. Requests should be made in advance.
