Kwanzaa Celebration presented by Cultural Wellness Center: Dec 26-31

The Cultural Wellness Center warmly invites our cherished elders and the entire community to the Pan-African Kwanzaa Celebration at Midtown Global Market! Join us daily from Friday, December 26, through Wednesday, December 31, as we gather in a sacred space to honor our enduring wisdom, unbreakable spirit, and the guiding principles of freedom, unity, and resilience.

Rooted in elder knowledge and cultural tradition, this celebration weaves together storytelling, intergenerational activities, African performances, art, food, music, and more. Each day begins with the powerful Call of the Drums and uplifts one of the Kwanzaa principles—Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work, and others.

The Cultural Wellness Center remains committed to honoring elder leadership, nurturing personal and collective healing, and strengthening community through culturally grounded practices.

Ramp and street parking are available. Ramp parking is located of of Lake Street and 10th avenue.
